Dr. Susan Mitchell is a candid and energetic advocate of nutrition education. Her innovative approach to eating well and feeling better is changing lifestyles at work and in homes across the country.

An award-winning registered dietitian, Dr. Mitchell serves on the health and medical advisory board of Family Circle magazine. She is co-author of three books— Fat is Not Your Fate, I'd Kill for a Cookie and Eat to Stay Young as well as a contributing author to Macmillan Reference USA 's Nutrition and Well-Being A to Z . A reliable source to the media, Dr. Mitchell has appeared on The Today Show, CNN, the TV Food Network and the Daily Buzz. She is also quoted extensively in Reader's Digest, Time, Redbook, Fitness, and Cooking Light.

Distinguishing Dr Mitchell's work is her ability to integrate sound nutrition and fitness into busy lifestyles to achieve better health, increased energy and creativity. She serves as the nutrition expert for ThirdAge.com and Target/SuperTarget. A licensed nutritionist, registered dietitian, and Fellow of the American Dietetic Association, Dr. Mitchell earned her Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee (Go Volunteers!) and taught nutrition and health science at the University of Central Florida for over 8 years.

She loves cats, loves to cook and freely admits to being a chocoholic.

Dr. Catherine Christie, also a Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutrition Specialist, and Fellow of the American Dietetic Association, is Nutrition Program Director and MSH/Dietetic Internship Director in the Brooks College of Health at the University of North Florida. She is Past President of the Florida Dietetic Association and served for six years as the Chairman of the Dietetics and Nutrition Council, which regulates the nutrition profession in the state of Florida. Dr. Christie is Editor of the Florida Manual of Medical Nutrition Therapy and is often quoted in newspapers and magazines, including USA Today, Reader's Digest, Cooking Light, Woman's Day and Family Circle. Along with Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Christie is the co-author of I'd Kill for a Cookie and Eat to Stay Young. She lives in Florida.
